BBD Equity Scholarships
Efficiency Vermont’s Better Building by Design (BBD) conference is proud to offer Social Equity Scholarships. These scholarships are offered to support and inspire women and BIPOC applicants' advancement of energy efficiency and social equity.
Scholarships are on a first come, first served basis while funds are available. Scholarships are offered for one day or for the full two days of the conference. Scholarships are offered to reduce registration fees to $25 per day of attendance.
To apply for a 2024 BBD Equity scholarship, please complete this form and return it to [email protected] no later than March 1st, 2024.
All submissions will be notified by March 15th, 2024, if they have been selected as a scholarship recipient.
In order to remove barriers to attend, and in addition to the conference scholarships, applicants may request a travel and/or a lodging stipend.
VEIC, which operates Efficiency Vermont, has energy justice at the core of its mission. As we continue to learn how climate change has a disparate impact on communities of color, we’ve committed to designing energy efficiency programs to bridge the gap and reduce energy burden. Recognizing and removing obstacles to energy efficiency education is one step in the greater effort VEIC is undertaking to increase access and equity in our programs and services.
