How We Support Vermonters

Reach us by phone, chat, or e-mail—or connect with us in person at an upcoming event. We can answer questions and connect you with guides for do-it-yourselfers, services for families on a tight budget, financial incentives, and more. You’ll find tools to understand your electrical usage, low-cost tips to save energy, and independent research on the latest products and technologies. And in retail stores, our Smart Choice label can help you identify energy-efficient appliances with the lowest operating costs.

  • Independent research and vetting of technologies (e.g., LEDs, heat pumps)
  • In-store Smart Choice label makes it easy to find the most efficient products
  • Buying guides and tips on a range of topics to help you make informed choices
