Efficiency Vermont wins national honor for ‘sustained excellence’

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized Efficiency Vermont for its long-standing success in saving Vermonters money through energy efficiency. The EPA has honored Efficiency Vermont with a 2016 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award for its 16-year leadership in protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency services. Efficiency Vermont’s accomplishments will be recognized at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 13, 2016.

“Sustained Excellence is an important distinction because it reflects the long-term commitment of Vermonters to reducing their energy costs and improving the comfort and value of their homes and business facilities,” said Liz Gamache, Director of Efficiency Vermont. “Our partnership with ENERGY STAR has helped us bring innovative new programs, products and services to our customers, helping them to reduce the economic and environmental impacts of energy in our state.”
