Efficiency Vermont introduces new brand identity

Burlington, VT

Today, Efficiency Vermont is launching a brand new look and feel that expresses the organization’s commitment to helping Vermonters find sustainable energy solutions. To build on 15 years of energy savings success and our role as a trusted resource for Vermonters, we hope to inspire and empower more homeowners and businesses to find ways to reduce their energy use and costs.

The new logo

The Efficiency Vermont logo has always prominently featured our name. We know that Vermonters have come to recognize our name and that nothing describes our work as clearly. We retained the name form in our new logo but selected design elements that are unique and distinguish the logo from others in the energy market. Our new logo uses an easy-to-read typeface and adds elements of motion and energy—a nod to our mission and expertise in sustainable energy. The deep blue and spring green colors of the logo are fresh and approachable as well as trustworthy and compassionate. It is a scalable logo that we feel is distinctive and memorable in the growing and dynamic Vermont energy marketplace.

Our reputation as a trusted and unbiased energy resource aligns with our updated, friendly, and approachable brand. We chose to combine the best of the brand our customers know with a fresh, contemporary design that speaks to customers at all stages of working with us.

The new website

The Efficiency Vermont website is the most visible and complete example of our new brand identity. We are pleased to present a site that not only provides a useful sustainable energy resource for Vermonters but engages customers with an appealing and simplified structure.

The new website combines photography and design elements with stories and expert advice to deliver engaging and helpful information. When using the Efficiency Vermont website, Vermonters can find rebates, products, and details about our services quickly—all while connecting to the next steps to save energy.

“Many Vermonters have heard of Efficiency Vermont, but not everyone knows how we can help them specifically to save energy and money,” said Liz Gamache, Director of Efficiency Vermont. “Our new brand will allow us to better serve Vermonters with clear and consistent information and our new website will serve as an easy and accessible way for customers to connect with us and learn from our incredible team of energy experts.”
