Whole-Home Mechanical Ventilation - Design and Installation Fundamentals for Indoor Air Quality

This session focuses on mechanical ventilation requirements for code-compliant high-performance homes, with particular attention paid to balanced ventilation design and installation. Participants will examine the limits of infiltration and natural ventilation, compare mechanical ventilation strategies, and review relevant code requirements. Emphasis will be placed on selecting, sizing, and integrating heat or energy recovery ventilation systems so that tighter building enclosures maintain healthy indoor air quality, occupant comfort, building durability, and reliable performance.

When registering, please select either the morning session (9:00–10:30 a.m.) or the afternoon session (12:00–1:30 p.m.), but not both.
