Residential System Design, Manual J & S

ACCA Residential System Design is a time-tested, peer-reviewed process for meeting residential comfort needs and is required by the International IRC/IECC/IMC and New England state building codes. In this four-hour seminar, Chris will focus on two critical pieces of that process:

• Manual J — Site Survey: Learn how to identify the inputs needed for the ACCA-approved Manual J v8 software of your choice. As Chris puts it: “They teach you data input, I'll teach you what the inputs should be!”
• Manual S — Equipment Selection: Once you have the load calculation, what comes next? We'll cover residential equipment sizing guidelines for air conditioning, heat pumps, furnaces, and dual-fuel systems.

And no—you do not need ACCA manuals or software for this course.
