Glazing and Fenestration Applications and Requirements in the VT RBES and the International Residential Code

Windows and glazing account for a significant percentage of overall area in many residential buildings. Both the IRC and the VTRBES energy code define performance criteria for overall building thermal performance and for life safety. This course will cover the basic of what these codes require and the applicability of these standards to single family residential construction and rental occupancy buildings in Vermont.
