BS & Beer Upper Valley - Navigating New England Energy Policy

Energy policy in New England faces critical, interrelated challenges. For example: how to decarbonize the housing sector, protect residents from increasing extreme heat, and make energy more affordable? A large, diverse network of actors addresses these interrelated challenges with different approaches. Some deliver weatherization programs, others work to strengthen enforcement of residential energy codes, and still others help homeowners make informed choices through energy navigator initiatives. However, these actors often operate in silos and prioritize different objectives.

This month’s BS & Beers session showcases preliminary work that starts to untangle this complex web. You’ll have the chance to learn from and provide feedback to emerging research mapping the home energy landscape in New Hampshire and Vermont. The session will be highly interactive.
