Special offer for select Vermonters

We are seeking participants for our first-of-its-kind Harvest Thermal pilot program. Help us bring new technology into Vermont that can cut carbon emissions, improve our homes’ efficiency, and optimize how we use the electric grid.

Harvest Thermal is a brand-new, all-electric heating, cooling, and water-heating solution for the home. It’s a smart system that marries a heat pump to thermal storage for the lowest carbon home heating, AC and hot water available. The system uses an innovative design with a thermal battery system can shift electric usage to times when it is cheaper and cleaner.

What to expect from the Harvest Thermal pilot program

Participating in this pilot will help pave the way to bring new, highly efficient technology to Vermont. A designated team member will work with you every step of the way. Since the cost of Harvest Thermal installation varies by home, you will receive a customized incentive to fit the scale of your project.

Homes that meet the following criteria are encouraged to participate in this program:

  • Home is less than 1500 square feet
  • Home currently uses a ducted heating system
  • Home was constructed or weatherized within the past 10 years
  • Home is ready to have the Harvest Thermal System installed in 2023

Does this sound like you? Then contact us today to learn more about this program and to schedule a site audit. From there, a Harvest Thermal technician and an Efficiency Vermont energy expert will scope your home for compatibility. At this point, the financial incentive is calculated. A specially trained contractor will complete the installation if your home is compatible. You are not committed to the program until you consent to enroll after the site analysis and financial incentives are established.

This is a limited-time offer, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Project must be completed and fully installed by 12/31/23. Contact us today to learn more.

The future of home and water heating

The Harvest Thermal system can optimize how Vermonters heat their home and water. It features a smart Pod that controls a heat pump and a water heater. The water heater acts as a thermal battery. It can pre-heat when energy is the cheapest and store the hot water until you’re ready to use it. This all-in-one system saves you energy and money while keeping you comfortable at home.

  • 10-year warranty
  • Quick payback period of only 5-10 years or less
  • Up to 90% reduction in carbon emissions
  • Efficient and whisper quiet
  • Rated 5-stars for comfort

The Pod works as a thermal battery that controls the heat pump, the hot water tank, and the air handler that delivers heat through your ducts. The Pod is a small gray box. The diagram shows the Pod with yellow dotted lines connecting it to illustrations of the heat pump, which is a gray box with a fan in the center, the hot water tank, which is a gray, tall, cylinder, and the air handler, which is a long, gray cylinder with a fan in the center.
