EEN Update October 2019

New Membership Group

The EEN is adding a Building Design Professionals group to its membership. This will include architects (both residential and commercial) and engineers. Architects who are currently members will be grandfathered into this new group (this means you don’t have to sign any new agreements!), and requirements for them have not changed.

Requirements for Building Design Professionals:

• Signed General Agreement and Addendum
• Certificate of insurance, minimum $1 million coverage
• Active licensure
  • Architects—must be licensed by the Vermont Board of Architects
  • Engineers—must be licensed by the Vermont Board of Professional Engineering (Professional Engineer license)
