How are solar thermal and solar power different?
Solar thermal works by using mirrors to concentrate sunlight. The concentrated sunlight is then used directly as a source of heat, as in solar water heating. Solar power is generally photovoltaic, where the sun's light is directly converted by solar panels into electricity.
