Fall 2020 Program Changes & Reminders
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® (HPwES):
A reminder that Efficiency Vermont will be changing the HPwES program incentives, effective October 1, 2020, as follows:
- 50% of total project cost up to $4,000
- Reduced from 75% of total project cost up to $5,500
- 50% of total project cost up to $1,000
- Reduced from 50% of total project cost up to $2,000
Blower Door Testing Services
Residential builders and their customers are looking for BPI-certified contractors to perform blower door testing services to help their projects meet the new 2020 code. Efficiency Vermont is offering Home Performance members a new service listing to indicate if they are willing to perform these services. The service is currently called, "Residential New Construction Envelope Testing," but this is subject to change based on customer feedback and other indicators.

Home Energy Loan Update
BED Customers are eligible for either full BED Incentives or Coverage Payments until October 31, 2020. For more information, please call BED’s Energy Services Team at (802) 865-7300 or by email at https://www.burlingtonelectric.com/contact/contact_energy_services.
As of September 1, 2020, most Home Energy Loan applicants are required to have an annual household income under $90,000 to qualify for the payment coverage offer. Customers should contact a lending partner for details and to determine eligibility.
Energy Code Assistance Center (ECAC)
With the recent changes to both the Residential and Commercial Building Standards (RBES & CBES) that took effect on September 1, 2020, we wanted to remind EEN members about the Energy Code Assistance Center (ECAC). ECAC staff can help to answer all your RBES and CBES code-related technical questions, as well as manage requests for additional trainings and code support materials. Call the ECAC at (855) 887-0673.
