Introduction to Estimating (4 weeks)

Join Tia Garcia for a comprehensive introduction to the methodology and techniques of estimating for residential construction.

In this four week course you will learn how to:

• Organize your process with CSI divisions and code cost
• Create a Design Development (DD) / Construction Drawing (CD) estimate
• Generate an initial ballpark / Schematic Design (SD) budget range
• Use HELM’s own estimating tool.

Tia will also hare sample estimating documents and deliverables that are the standard in this industry.

Presenters Tia Garcia What to Expect Sessions will be offered via Zoom on four consecutive Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30 pm. Attending all sessions in real-time is strongly encouraged, however, we will be recording the sessions.
