VECAN Spring Summit 2023

June 3, 2023
9am-1pm EST

Middlebury College – McCullough Student Center, Wilson Hall 14 Old Chapel Rd Middlebury, VT 05753
Free

Join fellow energy leaders to reconnect, share ideas, strategize, and prepare to collaborate on timely issues and co-create opportunities. This event will be entirely free of charge and open to all, thanks to Middlebury College and our generous sponsors.

We are excited to reconvene in-person once again, especially at this moment of tremendous urgency when it comes to climate and tremendous opportunity when it comes to unprecedented federal funding. Please join us June 3rd to reconnect, strategize and help co-create opportunities to do our part to advance just and bold climate action!

Following light breakfast fare and informal networking, we will start the day with an expert panel focused on funding the transition – with an overview of the Inflation Reduction Act, the Municipal Energy Resilience Program and other utility, state and federal programs to support households and businesses. Then, we’ll dive into a series of small group discussions at breakout tables around timely topics. You will have the opportunity to share ideas, brainstorm, and connect with experts and fellow community leaders on priority clean energy and climate solutions.

Please, BYOI - Bring Your Own Idea! We aim to create space for you to workshop climate action strategies with a group of fellow community energy leaders and experts. Bring your best ideas and get feedback, collaborate with others who share your vision, and learn from the experiences of others as well as the input from experts in the field.

We are happy to provide light breakfast fare, lunch, snacks, refreshments, and a great program to (re)focus our important, collective efforts. Please note that there is a maximum capacity of 150 attendees in this space. If you find yourself unable to attend after registering, please contact [email protected] so we can make space for others who can.
