This course introduces the new SEER 2 equipment regulations and the primary refrigerants under consideration to replace R-410a. The course will also introduce HC refrigerants now being used in household appliances, coolers, and vending machines. Attendees will learn the new 2023 regulations, why the changes are happening, what is different about the equipment and refrigerants, and about refrigerant flammability. The class will also discuss important safety procedures and how the changes will affect residential AC equipment and appliances going forward.

It is important that distributor managers, technicians, sales, operations, contractor owners, HVAC students, and trade associations attend this state approved course.
