COVID-19 Update:

To protect the health of our staff and our customers, Efficiency Vermont offices are closed to the public. We have cautiously begun scheduling project related site visits when required. You can find more information on our safety protocols here.

We know that you need support in reducing energy costs now more than ever, and we will continue to launch new offers and programs over the course of the summer. Efficiency Vermont partners with local contractors to provide training, support, and market opportunities to make Vermont businesses and homes more energy-efficient. Our residential program, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, is a national award-winning program that provides support to contractors and helps motivate homeowners with incentives and education to promote safe, high quality, and energy-efficient home renovation.

Contractors who participate in our Home Performance with ENERGY STAR and Building Performance programs are required to be certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI) and must perform comprehensive, whole-building assessments, identify problems at their root cause, and prescribe and prioritize solutions based on building science. They receive specialized support from Efficiency Vermont including: no-cost technical assistance, advanced training, and diagnostic equipment incentives.

In 2020, Efficiency Vermont is partnering with Vermont Technical College (VTC) to offer free BPI training and testing throughout the year. To learn more about our Weatherization programs and if joining the network is right for you, please contact Steve Spatz at (802) 318-7728 or sspatz@veic.org.
