Location: St. Albans City Hall
Do you want to help your town and community save energy, reduce climate impacts, and save money on energy bills?
Please join us for the Northwest Vermont Regional Energy Forum to learn how town energy committees are making a difference in Vermont and how to start an energy committee in your town.
This regional energy forum is co-sponsored by the Northwest Regional Planning Commission, Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network (VECAN), and Efficiency Vermont.
There are over 100 town energy committees across Vermont. These energy committees are all volunteer groups that are the boots-on-the-ground working toward a more efficient, affordable and renewable energy future for Vermont. Town energy committees are involved in spearheading a wide-range of projects in their communities – from helping to reduce municipal energy costs by weatherizing town buildings and purchasing solar power to educating town residents on saving energy through local outreach campaigns to expanding public transit.
Food will be provided starting at 5:30 PM, and the forum will begin at 6 PM. There is no cost to attending this event.
While RSVP is not required, we appreciate you letting us know if you can attend so that we can get a sense of how much food to order. Please email Ian at email@example.com to confirm your attendance. We encourage you to share this invitation to your neighbors and friends. We hope to see you on April 19th!
