Eligibility and Enrollment
Efficiency Vermont Residential New Construction Services and incentives are available to builders, developers, home buyers, homeowners or housing agencies involved in the construction of enrolled residential properties in Vermont. To be eligible for Efficiency Vermont Residential New Construction services and incentives, a signed enrollment form should be received by Efficiency Vermont as early in the project planning phase as possible to ensure that the project is on target to meet program requirements. Enrollments received later than one week prior to installation of drywall (or interior wall finish surfaces) will not be eligible.
For both Vermont ENERGY STAR® Homes service and the Energy Code Plus service you will need to decide whether you will be the general contractor or you will rely on the builder to be the general contractor.
